San Francisco, CA and Berlin, Germany – September 3, 2010 – OD-OS, developer of Retina Navigation, announced today that its Navilas® navigated photocoagulation technology will be presented during the upcoming EURETINA congress, which is combined with the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) congress in Paris, France, September 2nd - 8th. The Navilas system is the world’s first retina laser with navigation. By combining proprietary imaging and registration technologies into one system, the Navilas enables retina surgeons to perform laser treatments with increased accuracy and overcome many of the limitations of conventional retina laser treatments performed with a slit lamp.
