Conclusion: Results from patients treated with PDT and nSML showed no significant differences except for choroidal thickness. Even though patients treated with PDT recovered more quickly, retreatment was necessary due to fluid recollection. Although patients treated with nSML also needed retreatment, nSML is less invasive than PDT and can be used as an effective alternative to PDT.
