Central Serous Chorioretinopathy

Introducing an optimized treatment paradigm

Due to its ability to overlay ICG angiographies and FA images for precise planning, Navilas provides a unique and advanced treatment paradigm for central serous chorioretinopathy. In conjunction with the ability to perform subthreshold treatments Navilas represents an optimal tool to target central serous chorioretinopathy.

Easy Targeting

Indocyanine green angiography images, fluorescein images as well as OCT images can be overlaid to correctly identify the leakage cause and target the appropriate lesion adequately while minimally damaging healthy tissue.

Optimized Results

An intertrial study comparison demonstrated that the use of navigated threshold laser results in an earlier and higher closure rate of leakage points as compared to conventional lasers.

Feasible sub-threshold approach

Ensuring confluency and traceability

Navilas provides full documentation of each applied spot with respect to parameters as well as spot position relative to macula and optical nerve head, thus ensuring for the first time true traceability and enabling potential re-treatment.

With pre-planned laser positions and automatic execution of laser spots it can ensure that the correct tissue is activated and remodeled.

Effective CSCR treatment

“Navilas allows me to treat CSCR lesions with unprecedented reduction of collateral tissue damage. This is the prerequisite for long-term preservation of vision.“
